Snapshot 1
Email platform pricing, recorded every week at the same eight list sizes
Vendor pricing pages change quietly. SideBySend reads six of them on a weekly loop, records the price at 500, 1,000, 2,500, 5,000, 10,000, 25,000, 50,000 and 100,000 contacts, timestamps every cell, and keeps the old numbers so the changes stay visible.
Cheapest paid plan by list size
One row per vendor, on the cheapest paid plan each one sells. Plan names sit under the vendor name because these plans are not feature matched.
Prices are compiled from public vendor pages and can lag behind a change. Cells marked Der are calculated from published rules and cells marked Est are rough figures. Neither is an invoice or a quote, so confirm with the vendor before you spend.

Why a weekly timestamp is the point
Almost every pricing guide on the web is a single undated read of a vendor page. That is fine on the day it is written and useless six months later, because email platforms move prices, cut free tiers and change how they count contacts without announcing much.
Three of the six vendors here repriced or changed a billing rule in the last twelve months. Mailchimp cut its free plan to 250 contacts. MailerLite renamed both paid plans and raised the middle of the ladder. ActiveCampaign started billing new accounts for contacts they cannot legally email.
A dated number at a fixed list size is the only way to see that happen. So SideBySend records the same eight breakpoints on a weekly loop and never overwrites the history.

- Aug 2026MailerLite stopped selling Growing Business and AdvancedAnyone still on a legacy price loses it at renewal. Switching to annual to save 10 percent triggers the move early, which can cost more than the saving.
- Jun 2026MailerLite repriced and renamed its paid plansThe entry prices barely moved. The middle of the ladder took most of the increase, which is why the MailerLite rows above 1,000 subscribers are marked as estimates until the slider is read again.
- Apr 2026Mailchimp raised legacy account prices by roughly 11 to 13 percentAn older Mailchimp account can now pay more than the published number for the same tier. Compare an invoice against the table rather than assuming the table applies.
- Jan 2026Mailchimp cut the free plan to 250 contacts and 500 monthly sendsA free list between 250 and 500 contacts now has to pay. The cheapest paid step is Essentials at 13 dollars a month.
How much to trust each number
- Verified
- Read from the vendor pricing page, or the same number reported by two independent trackers.
- Derived
- Calculated from a rule the vendor publishes, such as a stated annual discount or a tier ceiling.
- Estimate
- Sources disagree, or the breakpoint sits between published stops. Rough figure, use it as a range.
- Not published
- The vendor publishes nothing at this point, so no number is shown.
